what is paragon?
The word PARAGON come from the medieval Italian paragone, which means touchstone. A touchstone is a black stone used to judge the quality of precious metals. A sample was rubbed on the stone and the color of the streak it left indicated its quality. In modern English, PARAGON has come to signify a standard against which something should be compared – an exemplar of the highest possible quality.
